Remember OUYA, the mythical open source, Android based console that promises to upend the console business? Well, it seems that the company behind it is ready to ship development versions of its consoles to developers who are interested to make games for the new, revolutionary console. The console will start shipping on December 28th for the lucky people who managed to apply to get one, though not all devs will get a unit. Not to worry though – prospective developers can still access the OUYA Development Kit — or ODK, for short through the internet which gives them the tools to create games on the brave new console once it ships in 2013.
