Power Mac Center launches Misfit Shine in PH

TechnologyTechnology NewsPower Mac Center launches Misfit Shine in PH

Power Mac Center further advocates fitness in style in the Philippines with the addition of the sophisticated personal activity tracker, Misfit Shine, in its array of quality product offerings.

Simplicity and functionality coalesce in the Misfit Shine. Displaying a top-notch aircraft-grade aluminium metal crafted body, the Shine is not your average activity tracker. It is a versatile device that can be worn as a necklace, wrapped around the wrist as a sports band or bracelet (with a silicone or leather strap), and clasped onto the tongue of the shoe or clipped on to anywhere thanks to its integrated magnetic fastening.

Like most activity trackers, the Shine monitors the users’ everyday activities, i.e., sleeping, walking, running, swimming (yes, it is waterproof), and whatnot. What’s different about this tracker is it allows the user to set fitness goals and actually monitor the progress in achieving those aims, challenging them to actively foster a healthy lifestyle.

Users can seamlessly sync the tracker with their iOS  or Android device by just booting the Misfit Shine app (available on the App store and Play Store) and putting the Shine on top of their device, no wires, thanks to its Bluetooth support. The device can also be configured to accurately record the user’s varying physical activities in different levels and monitor it on a daily basis through health indicators and activity, which are stored on the cloud (via the app).

Also during the launch, Anton Del Rosario of the Philippine Azkals was introduced as Misfit Shine’s brand ambassador.

The practical and fashionable health and wellness solution, Misfit Shine is available in jet, grey, topaz, and champagne variants. The device with a whopping 6-month battery life retails for PHP 6,850 and is available in all Power Mac Centers nationwide. For more information, visit any Power Mac Center or log on to or
