Suzuki and Wheeltek transformed the Trinoma Activity Center last September 27 to 28 into a spectacle worthy of commemorating their 40 years of partnership.

Gracing Wheeltek’s podiums were Suzuki’s latest Fuel-injection technology-equipped bikes, including the Raider J 115 Fi, Shooter 15 Fi, Smash 115, Skydrive, and Suzuki’s big bikes: the GSR 750 and V-Strom 650. Besides freebies such as a Fi cap, a brand new Smash 115 was also up for grabs for one lucky visitor.

Complementing the powerful Suzuki motorcycles were the company’s beautiful Fi models and FHM’s 100 Sexiest’s Alex Moreno.

Meanwhile, Wheeltek’s exhibit was a mural detailing their 40 years of history with milestones highlighted each decade. Wheeltek started in 1974 under the moniker of Peer Marketing, operating in a garage owned by Dr. Reynaldo Odulio and Mrs. Rosario Teresita Odulio. The company’s humble beginnings trace back to only three motorcycle units on display, all of which were Suzuki bikes.

During the exhibit’s first day, Suzuki President Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki, Managing Director Ms. Catalina Calderon, General Manager for Sales and Marketing of Motorcycle Division Mr. Eiji Kobayashi, and General Manager for Admin and Finance Mr. Norminio Mojica, gave the Odulio family a token of appreciation in the form of a giant, wheel-like trophy made of ultra-clear glassed topped with a translucent “40th Anniversary” text. It read:

“Established in 1974, through the excellent management of its founder, Dr. Reynaldo Odulio and Mrs. Rosario Teresita Odulio, Suzuki is honoured to be the first motorcycle that Peer Marketing carried during its foundation and a strong partner to its journey to be where it is today as Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation.”
