Last week, at an event to which we were invited, we got some really good news from a very reliable source. The source, who shall remain unnamed mentioned that the Google/LG Nexus 5 will be coming to the Philippines in very short order through one of the local telcos. This is really great news for those who have been waiting for the Android 4.4 KitKat device. There is no word on pricing, so we don’t know if it’ll be keeping the low price that has made it so popular overseas, or the price of admission will be at par with the kind of device it is, nor is there any word on the storage sizes to be made available. For those of you who need a refresher, the Nexus 5 by LG closely resembles the G2, and carries quite an impressive spec sheet, with a quad-core processor, the latest mobile graphics, 2GB of RAM and a gorgeous 5-inch screen. For more news, you’re all just going to have to wait a little longer, as the reported launch will be the first week of December.
