Lenovo maintains its bullish presence across markets with its innovative devices, reliable services, and strong push on AI and hyper-converged solutions.

The reputed PC maker results for first fiscal quarter show its group of companies achieving strong double-digit growth in revenue year-on-year. The Lenovo Group revenue rose to 19-percent year-on-year which translates to USD 11.91 billion. In the Philippines, Michael Ngan, Lenovo Philippines country manager, shared that they have recorded roughly 2 million sold units. This achievement cements Lenovo as the number 2 brand in the stringent Philippine PC market, and the company shows no signs of slowing down.

Lenovo credits its customer-centric approach to business as a key factor in this growth. Recognized globally for providing positive customer experience, the company continues to fortify its efforts by introducing new value-added services. Lenovo recently made available to customers Premier Support, Accidental Damage Protection (ADP), and Asset Tagging Service.

    • Premier Support is a commercial service that goes beyond just a device warranty. By availing, customers benefit from a special hotline number that would connect them to tech support without wait times. Clients subscribed to the service can also expect a dispatch engineer to attend to their needs should they need it.
    • Accidental damage protection secures the customer’s device investment. Should the device suffer an accident, it can be brought to a Lenovo service center and repaired.
    • Asset tagging service is a service for big companies. Lenovo will record and tag the devices for clients availing the service, saving businesses time and resources.

Its strong foothold in the country is also in large part due to its unrelenting marketing efforts. Lenovo now has 20 concept stores nationwide and is expected to open another Tacloban, as well more in the months to come.

Recently, Lenovo also gave its gaming brand Legion a facelift. Devices such as the Legion Y530 now sport a slim and sleeker chassis as well as more powerful hardware, elements that appeal to the modern avid gamers.

And with the creation of an Intelligent Devices Group (IDG), Lenovo continues to innovate devices and services that will truly benefit consumers.

Look out for new Lenovo technologies at the IFA 2018.
