Android Pay will be available in over 1 million locations in the US in the coming days.
Android Pay works through near-field communication (NFC) feature of Google KitKat’s operating system. Billing details can be stored in your smartphones so mobile purchases are easily done. This app can be downloaded in Google Play app store. For those who are using Google Wallet app, they can now upgrade to Android Pay.
MasterCard, Visa and American Express card are all part of the Android Pay transaction system.
In the future, it is more efficient to use your mobile phones as your mode of transaction payments rather than carrying your ATM or credit cards since it lessens the danger of data theft.
It will compete with its rivals – Apple Pay and Samsung Pay in the business of mobile payments.
According to BBC.com, “It will be available in the US from 28 September, with countries including the UK, Spain and China to follow. Google is yet to reveal when Android Pay will be available outside the US”.
