The Southeast Asia’s on-demand courier service, Lalamove, celebrates its first anniversary in the Philippines. Since its formal debut last year, meeting every business’ logistical needs are now made better and faster. It has served as a logistic platform partner for small and medium enterprises and completed hundreds of thousands deliveries nationwide through its efficient app-based system. Unlike other competitors, Lalamove provides different transport options like motorcycles, vans, and SUVs for various industries.
But aside from shaping up the delivery industry in the country, the company has also provided steady and income-generating jobs for Filipino drivers.
“We want to focus on top-notch services. Not just being customer-centric but also giving value to our trusted partner drivers. This vision of Manila has driven us to be one of the fastest growing countries of Lalamove here in Southeast Asia,” said Country Director of Lalamove Philippines, Albert Go.
Due to its strong foothold in the Philippine market, Lalamove partners with Shunwei Capital (a Chinese-based venture capital enterprise) to make its strategic plans a reality. The company is set to buy equipments that are necessary for its growing clients in the food and beverage, apparel, and electronics industry.
