The HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) and the HKTDC International ICT Expo will be held concurrently at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13 to 16 April 2018. The two fairs will enter their 15th edition to provide an international platform for around 3,500 exhibitors to showcase their latest electronic products and cutting-edge ICT solutions to global buyers. In 2017, the twin fairs welcomed more than 94,000 buyers from 138 countries and regions.
The whole expo will run from April to May 2018 which will also features printing & packaging materials as well as home textiles, furnishings, home wares, medical devices, and supplies.
Launched at the Spring Electronics Fair and ICT Expo for the first time in 2017, the Startup zone will return to the fairs to feature the latest innovations across different categories such as Apps, IoT, consumer tech, eHealth, robotics and digital marketing.A series of themed events will be held to provide an effective platform for start-ups to present their idea, which includes pitching, mentoring, “Startup, Smart Launch” and sharing sessions.
The popular Tech Hall introduced last year will return at the Spring Electronics Fair to showcase tech-savvy products in four thematic zones: Connected Home, Robotics & Unmanned Tech, Virtual Reality (VR) and Wearable Electronics.Another highlight of the Fair is the Hall of Fame, which will feature more than 570 internationally renowned quality brands including Bourgini, Desay, Greatwall, HKC, Latitude, Roadrover, SKROSS and Polaroid.
Running concurrently with the Electronics Fair, the International ICT Expo is the ideal platform for different industries to keep abreast of the latest products and solutions in information, communication and technologies with the objective to enhance business efficiency and stay competitive. This year, the Expo will adopt the theme of “Smart City: The Way of the Future” to gather a wide range of related ICT solutions such as retail technologies, e-Commerce and digital business, to develop an efficient and sustainable urban planning and management.
