After a successful partnership in the 2018 Vios Cup, industry leaders Toyota Motor Phils. and Petron Corp. team up anew for the 2019 Toyota race season, now called the Vios Festival.
Expanding the grassroots motorsports program, the Vios Festival adds an Auto Cross Challenge in addition to Circuit Races. The Auto Cross Challenge is open to entrants in three categories: Celebrity, Media, and Car Clubs. The Circuit Races will have four categories: Super Sporting, Sporting Class, Promotional, and Celebrity.
The 2019 Vios Festival season kicks off on April 27-28 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City. The next three legs will be held at the Clark International Speedway on June 7-8, Aug. 30-31, and Nov. 8-9. Celebrity racers include Gerald Anderson, Fabio Ide, Troy Montero, Aubrey Miles, Gretchen Ho, Daniel Matsunaga, and Chie Filomeno.
