After taking the Patrol on its Go Anywhere drive to Taal, Batangas, Nissan Philippines Inc., has brought media and their complete lineup of 4×4 vehicles to the mystical island of Siquijor for the Nissan Go Anywhere Siquijor drive.
The drive showcased the capabilities of Nissan’s LCV line consisting of the Terra, Navarra, and the luxurious Patrol. Also showcased during the drive is Nissan’s new infotainment system called Nissan Connect.
The new infotainment system was created in partnership with Bosch which created the hardware and majority of the software, while Tomtom created the GPS Navigation system. The new system is now compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and can also connect to two phones simultaneously.
The drive saw Nissan’s cars traverse through the different roads of Siquijor, with stretches of unpaved roads going up the mountains of the island.
“We are able to demonstrate and showcase the capabilities of our LCV line-up, it also proves we can go anywhere with the Patrol, Terra, and Navarra,” said Atsushi Najima, President and General Manager, Nissan Philippines Inc.
