Oppo Philippines yesterday launched the new 6-inch R7 Plus and 5-inch R7 Lite boasting of the company’s Flash Shot, Flash Operation, and Flash Charge selling points.
The first allows users to capture great pictures with anti-shake optimization, either an RGBW or isocell sensor, and either laser or Phase Detection autofocus systems. The second revolves around Oppo’s new ColorOS 2.1 which eliminates most of its predecessors problems, including boot-up delays, long app loading times, laggy app performance, and general unresponsiveness, to give users a much more stable experience. Lastly, the phones arrive with either VOOC Flash Charge or Qualcomm Quick Charge to give the phones more juice while spending less time tethered to an outlet.

The Oppo R7 Plus arrives with a magnesium-aluminum unibody build giving it a premium feel in the hand. It is driven by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, and a 4100mAh power pack which is VOOC Flash Charge compatible.
Meanwhile, the 13MP primary camera is built around an RGBW sensor which adds a white subpixel to the standard RGB scheme, allowing 32-percent higher light sensitivity and 78-percent noise reduction. It also struts a laser autofocus system allowing it to lock in on a subject in less than 0.3 seconds.
Security detail is handled by a touch-enabled fingerprint sensor below the rear camera system. It stores up to five unique prints that corresponds to various commands such as unlocking the phone and encryption.

The R7 Lite comes in a smaller 5-inch package powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor mated with 2GB of RAM. Though the 13MP rear shooter does not have a laser autofocus system, it does have passive phase-detection auto-focus for still respectable lock-on speeds.
