On July 1, Huawei launched the highly-anticipated Ascend P7 in the Philippines. Huawei’s newest flagship is a well-crafted 6.5mm-thick, five-inch smartphone with full-HD display.
Packed inside the P7’s sleek body is a high-speed 4G LTE coupled with Huawei’s unique dual antenna. This high-power combination gives the unit capability to download at speeds of up to 150Mbps. It boasts an improved snapper and panoramic “selfie” and “groufie“ camera modes. The P7 is also equipped with an 8MP 5P non-spherical lens front-facing camera.
“With the panoramic shooting, everyone can fit in the picture. This feature also allows me to include more in the frame when taking a selfie, something that I need for my travels,” brand ambassador, Jasmine Curtis-Smith said.
The Ascend P7’s body was crafted with a seven-layered rear surface and a refined “spin effect” micro-pattern design, giving it a dose of elegance. The device is further amplified with edge through its display and rear covers protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
“The Ascend P7 took months of extensive design refinements to achieve this excellent balance of form and function. It’s our pleasure to bring this product into the Philippines,” said Charles Wu, Consumer Business group head of Huawei Technologies Philippines.
