It’s boasted to be the most inexpensive Android KitKat mobile with 3G connectivity offered by a Philippine smartphone player.

How pocket-friendly is it you ask? The Vida sells for a mere PHP 2,490, with a free screen protector and InstaCase included with every purchase.
Specs-wise, it runs on a dual-core 1GHz processor paired with a Mali-400MP GPU and 512MB of RAM. It’s equipped with a 5MP rear and VGA front cameras, 4GB of expandable storage, and a 1300mAh battery. For that price, you can’t really complain about its innards.
The Vida also features built-in photo editing capabilities and a smile shot feature, with Chen saying that “Great photos mean great moments, and great moments must be shared online. With 3G connection speeds of up to 21.1Mbps, VIDA users don’t have to settle with slow 2G connectivity.”
A free copy of Dr. Safety, a security app from Trend Micro, comes pre-installed off the bat to protect users from unsafe websites and apps. “Dr. Safety offers our users peace of mind,” said Chen. “This easy to use app warns them of malicious sites and software so they can avoid damaging their awesome new Starmobile phone.”
