Meet the Asus MeMo 370T: 7-inch Tegra 3 tablet for $250

ArchivesMeet the Asus MeMo 370T: 7-inch Tegra 3 tablet for $250

Tegra 3 is barely out of the gate, but Asus wants everyone to have a slice of NVIDIA’s multi-core experience at a price point that’s really hard to ignore. The MeMo 370T is a 7-inch tablet deal (similar to our recently reviewed Galaxy Tab 7 Plus) with a 1,280×800-resolution IPS screen and powered by Android Ice Cream Sandwich and NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor. The best part? Asus has said that the MeMo 370T will retail for $250 (or about Php 11,000). We don’t care if you don’t like Android or if you love iOS – Php 11,000 for a modern, top-tier device from a premium manufacturer will make you stop and think really hard about a purchase, which is ultimately what Asus wants you to do. If it was released with a dual-core processor (like most 7-inch tablets nowadays) it wouldn’t be a show stopper but the combination of Tegra 3 paired with ICS and the low $250 price point makes it the talking point of CES when talking about tablets (coincidentally the MeMo 370T won the Best of CES award). The MeMo 370T is set to land on the 2nd quarter of 2012.
