Toshiba has unleashed a slew of new digital products and a new business strategy to strengthen their presence locally at an event held earlier today at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay. The new product offerings cover a large spectrum of devices, including TVs, notebooks, tablets and refrigerators.
Tomoyasu Yamamoto, President of Toshiba (Philippines) Inc. (which incidentally, was established earlier this year) said, “For the past years, we have been reinforcing our marketing activities in the ASEAN market to deliver products that address local needs and enhance brand awareness. We are excited to have an opportunity to expand our business in the Philippines with the launch of a very strong line-up of TVs and PCs. We continue to make efforts to understand the market and look forward to meeting the needs of consumers throughout the Philippines.”
Included in the product unveil was the company’s newest Regza TV, the TL20 and three models of their Power TV line: the PB2, PB20 and the PS20. Also on display were the latest Qosmio line of notebooks (that was unveiled a few weeks ago), their ultrabook entry the Portégé Z830 and their tablet offerings the 10.1-inch Regza AT100 and the 7-inch Regza AT1S0.
