STI College renewed its contract with Cypher Learning for the use of NEO, a learning management system for schools and universities.

STI College is a private college system that offers diverse ICT-enhanced programs in Information Technology, Business and Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Engineering, and Arts and Sciences. STI has campuses all over the Philippines and is the second largest IT-based educational institution in Asia.

NEO is a learning platform that delivers great user experiences while incorporating all the essential tools schools and universities need to support efficient teaching and learning. NEO provides an indispensable set of features including content authoring, competency-based learning, gamification, automation, learning paths, adaptive learning, and integrations with most popular third-party systems.

“I am delighted that STI College has agreed to continue its partnership with us,” said Graham Glass, CEO of Cypher Learning. “It is one of our most valuable customers and we have thoroughly enjoyed seeing their education initiatives come to life with the platform and to observe how they are using NEO to empower students and teachers through technology in the Philippines.”

STI partnered with Cypher Learning in 2014 that benefits STI’s more than 73,000 students and 6,000 teachers by engaging in e-learning activities through the platform.

STI saw the advantages of using Cypher Learning and decided to renew its contract for three years, through a Memorandum of Agreement, that was signed on May 7, which was held at the STI Academic Center in Rizal, and included representatives from the STI including Peter Fernandez, president and COO, Harry Alfonso Joson, assistant vice president for Learning Management, and Restituto Bundoc, vice president for School Operations.

NEO was recently selected as winner of the “General Classroom Resources” category in the UK’s Education Resources Awards 2019. The platform was also named the #1 LMS for Higher Education in 2019 by the Craig Weiss Group.
