The West Coast favorite all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue restaurant GEN just opened its first branch in the Philippines last August 3 at SM By the Bay in Pasay City.

After a string of teasers in social media, the California-born GEN Korean BBQ House brings its unique brand of quality US ingredients, modern interiors and youthful atmosphere to Filipino customers―a mirror image of its United States locations.

Diners are treated to a plethora of meats, seafood and vegetables, from premium USDA top blade to teriyaki-marinated ox intestines. Other classic Korean fare are featured in the menu, like banchan, jap chae and soondooboo soup.

Lunch service, featuring 25 unlimited items, starts at 10 am and ends at 3 pm from Monday to Friday and costs about PHP 798 per person. Dinner service (from 3 pm to 12 midnight) as well as weekend lunches cost around PHP 1,288 and features the full unlimited lineup of 35 dishes.
