Local burger chain Zark’s Burgers showcased its newest line of affordable menu items at a media brunch in the company’s Taft Avenue branch last June 7.
The updated menu includes burgers that start at PHP 109, part of the restaurant’s Minor League section: the New Orleans-inspired Ragin’ Cajun; the It’s Ranch Time [sic] featuring Zark’s own version of ranch dressing; the Floyd Chicken Sandwich with a boneless deep fried chicken steak breaded with six different herbs and spices; the Cream Cheese with garlic and jalapeños; and the Sloppy J with homemade chunky minced meat sauce.
Also part of the rejuvenated menu are equally affordable rice and pasta options such as the Zark’s Original Burger Steak at PHP 109, the Chicken Fingers and Rice and the Chunky. Meaty. Cheesy. [sic] pasta, both at PHP 129.
To coincide with the recent updates to the menu and the restaurants’ look, the chain announced that they will be expanding aggressively this year, adding eight stores to their current portfolio of 32. New stores will be opened in Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Clark, Pampanga, among other locations.
Zark’s Burgers announced that to further increase their foothold on the market, they are now accepting branch franchising.
“We will not stop there. We have a lot of programs lined up, like people development, improving the food and the menu. I think it’s the right time for us to announce to everyone that we are here; we’re taking the Zark’s brand to the next level and we’re the number one casual dining burger joint,” said company owner Zark Varona.
