Electrolux ComfortFlow water heater wins iF Design Award for innovative product design

Swedish brand Electrolux has once again been recognized for its innovative product design as the Electrolux ComfortFlow 700 Water Heater earned an iF Design Award 2020.

Inspired by their Scandinavian Design heritage and values, the Electrolux ComfortFlow 700 electrical shower heater is a compliment to the sanctuary of the modern bathroom. Inspired by its environment, the ComfortFlow 700’s form is slim, clear and iconic, and expresses itself with tone-in-tone colours and a mixture between gloss and matte textures to match the elegance of today’s bathrooms. In the Philippines, the ComFortFlow 700 comes in soft sand and indigo blue tones.

Electrolux recognizes that nothing feels better than a warm shower to take away the stresses of the day. The ComfortFlow 700 is designed with technology to manage temperature spikes and scalding, even with an irregular water supply pressure, delivering up to 100% more stable water temperatures for the most delightful shower. The LED Heat indicator conveniently shows when one’s desired water temperature is reached.

“We are delighted to once again be recognized with the iF Design Award, which is known worldwide as a symbol of good design,” shared Electrolux Philippines country marketing manager, Andrea Soto-Pionilla.

“The ComfortFlow is a wonderful expression of the Electrolux Swedish design principle of marrying form and function. It not only complements today’s modern and sophisticated bathroom spaces but also comes with features to give you a great shower experience.  No need to worry about the water suddenly being too hot or too cold — stable water temperatures ensure that you get the heat you want, whether you are looking for an energizing shower in the morning or to relax at the end of the day.”

The annual iF Design Award was introduced in 1954 and is bestowed by the iF International Forum Design, one of the oldest independent design institutions in the world. The award recognizes design in seven different disciplines — Product, Packaging, Communication, Interior Architecture, Professional Concept, Service Design, and Architecture, and reviews products in the areas of living, work, leisure and healthcare.

This year, 7,298 entries were submitted from 56 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality. A 78-member jury made up of independent experts from all over world determined the winners. The awards ceremony will take place on May 4, 2020, in Berlin, Germany. A global leader in home and kitchen appliances, Electrolux aims to shape living for the better by reinventing taste, care and wellbeing experiences. Their products include washing machines and dryers, ovens and range hoods, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners and more that seeks to make life in Filipino homes more enjoyable and sustainable.
