As residential solar adoption expands, household energy needs are moving beyond power generation alone. More homeowners are looking for systems that can combine solar generation, battery storage, and intelligent energy management while providing greater visibility and control over how electricity is produced and used.

TCL is addressing that shift through TCL PV TECH and the BlueArk X1, its flagship all-in-one residential energy storage solution. The system is being introduced to the Philippine market as part of TCL’s broader push into smart home energy management.

FROM SOLAR GENERATION TO SMARTER ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Modern households increasingly want to make better use of self-generated solar energy, whether for evening consumption, unexpected grid outages, or everyday household loads. The BlueArk X1 is designed to bring those functions together through a single architecture that connects solar generation, battery storage, household loads, and the utility grid.

The system combines the inverter, battery system, and Energy Management System, or EMS, into one integrated footprint. This approach is intended to simplify deployment, installation, and daily energy management while giving homeowners a clearer view of how energy moves through the home.

“We are happy to announce this breakthrough. Designed around a fully integrated framework, the BlueArk X1 combines the inverter, battery system, and Energy Management System (EMS) into one streamlined footprint,” said Peter Chen, CEO of TCL Philippines. “This all-in-one architecture helps simplify system deployment, installation, and everyday energy management.”

SCALABLE STORAGE FOR CHANGING HOUSEHOLD NEEDS

The BlueArk X1 uses a modular storage architecture designed to scale as a household’s energy requirements change.

Storage starts at a base capacity of 8kWh and can expand up to 128kWh, allowing homeowners to increase capacity over time rather than committing to a single fixed configuration.

The system also includes digital monitoring that provides real-time visibility into how energy is generated, stored, and consumed. This gives homeowners greater control over their solar and battery setup while helping them manage household power use within a single energy ecosystem.

PART OF TCL PV TECH’S SMART ENERGY ROADMAP

The BlueArk X1 forms part of TCL PV TECH’s broader smart energy portfolio, which spans high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, residential energy storage, commercial and industrial storage, and intelligent grid management solutions.

By integrating solar generation, battery storage, household consumption, and grid interaction, the system reflects TCL’s move beyond standalone photovoltaic products toward a more complete home energy architecture.

For households already using or considering solar power, the addition of battery storage can allow more self-generated electricity to be used outside daylight hours while also creating a power reserve for periods when grid electricity is unavailable.

SINGLE-PHASE MODELS ARRIVE FIRST

TCL PV TECH is rolling out the BlueArk X1 through a phased launch designed to serve both standard and higher-capacity residential applications.

The BlueArk X1 Single-Phase Series, available in 6kW and 8kW configurations, is scheduled to become available starting October 2026. These models are intended for conventional residential installations requiring integrated solar-plus-storage capability.

The BlueArk X1 Three-Phase Series is scheduled for launch in 2027, extending the lineup to larger homes and residential properties with higher power requirements.

A BROADER APPROACH TO HOME ENERGY

The BlueArk X1 reflects a wider shift in residential solar from simply generating electricity toward managing when that energy is stored, consumed, or drawn from the grid.

By combining generation, storage, and energy management within one platform, TCL PV TECH is positioning the system as a more integrated solution for households looking to improve energy flexibility and make greater use of their solar installations.
