Maya has increased the borrowing limit for eligible users of Maya Personal Loan to up to PHP400,000, giving customers greater flexibility to finance larger personal and financial goals through a fully digital application process.

The expanded loan offering is intended for users planning significant expenses such as home improvements, business expansion, education, or other major life milestones. According to Maya, the higher borrowing limit is paired with repayment terms of up to 48 months, allowing borrowers to spread payments into predictable monthly installments.

Fully digital application process

Applying for a personal loan often involves preparing documents, meeting multiple requirements, and making several visits to a financial institution. Maya Personal Loan is designed to simplify this process by allowing eligible users to complete their application entirely through the Maya app.

No collateral or paperwork is required. Once approved, the loan proceeds are credited directly to the borrower’s Maya Wallet, enabling immediate access to the funds without additional processing steps.

Designed for greater flexibility

With the higher loan limit and extended repayment period, Maya aims to provide users with financing options that better match larger financial requirements while maintaining a straightforward borrowing experience.

By digitizing the entire process—from application and approval to fund disbursement—the platform reduces many of the administrative steps traditionally associated with personal loans.

Eligible users may apply for Maya Personal Loan directly through the Maya app. Loan approval and available credit remain subject to Maya’s credit evaluation process.
