Following its opening at SM North EDSA, the Cyberzone Mobile Expo continued its nationwide run with a showcase of smartphones, connected devices, gaming experiences, and event offers for Filipino consumers.
For many users, the smartphone has become central to work, content creation, gaming, communication, financial transactions, and everyday photography. As mobile devices add AI-powered features, more advanced cameras, improved gaming capabilities, and connected services, comparing products before purchasing has become increasingly important.
SM Cyberzone launched the nationwide expo to give consumers a venue where they can discover, compare, and experience current mobile technology in one location.
Hands-on smartphone shopping

The first leg of the Cyberzone Mobile Expo was held at SM North EDSA on July 11 and 12, welcoming shoppers interested in exploring new smartphones, event offers, and interactive experiences from participating technology brands.
Rather than functioning only as a mobile sale, the expo allows visitors to compare devices side by side and try their features directly. Shoppers can test AI-powered tools, assess mobile gaming performance, explore camera capabilities, and speak with brand specialists before choosing a device.
The event also covers wearables and accessories, giving shoppers options across different lifestyles, use cases, and budgets.
Connectivity and payment options

The Cyberzone Mobile Expo is co-presented by DITO Telecommunity, reflecting the role of mobile connectivity in experiences such as AI-assisted productivity, cloud gaming, high-definition streaming, video calls, and content creation.
Salmon is also participating in the event through flexible payment solutions intended to make smartphone upgrades more accessible to consumers.
Together, these partnerships expand the expo beyond product display by addressing connectivity and payment considerations that affect the overall smartphone ownership experience.
Mobile gaming at the expo
Razer Gold serves as the event’s official game top-up partner and supported a dedicated Gaming Lounge during the opening weekend.
The interactive space gave visitors an opportunity to play, connect with other gamers, and experience mobile gaming in an event setting. The second day concluded with a Mobile Legends tournament attended by aspiring players, gaming enthusiasts, and spectators.
Participating brands vivo, TECNO, HONOR, Infinix, UGREEN, and DataBlitz also presented products through demonstrations, promotions, and hands-on activities.
Helping shoppers make informed choices
The opening weekend’s turnout reflected the continuing demand for in-person technology experiences. Instead of relying only on online reviews and specification sheets, visitors could compare products, ask questions, and evaluate features firsthand before making a purchase.
“Technology is evolving faster than ever, and choosing the right smartphone has become more important than simply choosing the latest one,” said Patrick Pacla, vice president for operations and marketing, sponsorship and Cyberzone, at SM Supermalls. “The Cyberzone Mobile Expo is designed to help Filipinos discover what’s new, experience the latest innovations firsthand, and shop with confidence through our trusted retailers. Together with our partners DITO Telecommunity and Salmon, we’re creating a more connected, accessible, and rewarding mobile shopping experience for everyone.”
SM Cyberzone said its network of authorized retailers also gives shoppers access to genuine products and aftersales support.
Continuing the nationwide tour
After its opening at SM North EDSA, the Cyberzone Mobile Expo continued at SM City Laoag on July 18 and 19, 2026, followed by SM City Santa Rosa on July 25 and 26, 2026.
The nationwide tour gave more consumers an opportunity to experience smartphones, connected devices, gaming products, and accessories while comparing options across several brands and price points.
