Ford Philippines achieved an all-time record in the third quarter of 2019.

The report shows that sales for the Ranger rose by 28 percent, recording a total of 3,852 vehicles. This drives up its year-to-date record to 26 percent or a total of 10,688 vehicles sold from the first quarter up to the third quarter of the year.

The Ranger lineup has grown to 11 variants in the Philippines, including the recent addition of the Ranger XLS Sport that features striking design enhancements that further strengthen its rugged and visual appeal.

“The Ranger remains a key driver of our growth in the Philippines and continues to gain a wide appeal among customers with varying needs. We remain confident that the segment-defining pickup truck will help sustain our momentum as we close out the year,” said PK Umashankar, managing director, Ford Philippines.

Apart from the Ranger, Ford also recorded an increase of sales to its mid-size SUV Everest during the third quarter with 618 units sold. This increased its year-to-date sales to 3,537 vehicles. Meanwhile, the EcoSport delivered a total of 492 units, recording a total of 1,512 units to its year-to-date sales.

The new Ford Everest is powered by the new-generation 2.0L Bi-Turbo diesel engine and 10-speed automatic transmission. With the new powertrain, customers can enjoy lower service maintenance costs with a once a year scheduled service interval instead of twice a year. The new Ford Everest is available in two variants, the 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4×4 AT and the 2.0L Turbo Titanium 4×2 AT.
