The 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) is happening from June 4 to 7 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City, and this year’s edition is the biggest one yet. Organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI), the show runs under the theme “Forward in Every Drive” and brings together 17 automotive brands under one roof, from household names to first-time exhibitors making their Philippine debut.
“The 10th Philippine International Motor Show underscores our aim in fostering a vibrant and competitive auto industry. One that is always moving ahead as a primary mobility provider to the Filipino motorists, and constantly evolving with appropriate technologies and solutions to address the changing customer needs,” said Jing Atienza, president of CAMPI.
Here’s what to watch out for when you visit.
1. A 17-brand lineup covering the full spectrum
This year’s Philippine International Motor Show brings together BAIC, Chery, Foton, Geely, Honda, Isuzu, Jetour, Kia, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Omoda & Jaecoo, Subaru, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, and VinFast. That mix of long-standing industry players and newer market entrants gives the show a broad range of body styles, powertrains, and price points to explore in a single venue.
2. Five brands making their PIMS debut
BAIC, Omoda & Jaecoo, Subaru, Tesla, and VinFast are all appearing at the Philippine International Motor Show for the first time. For Filipino car buyers, that means a rare chance to see and experience these brands in person, especially Tesla and VinFast, which have been generating a lot of buzz in the local market.
3. Major vehicle launches and model previews
Both returning and first-time exhibitors are expected to bring new models and unveil flagship vehicles for the Philippine market. Specific announcements are being kept close to the chest ahead of the show, so there’s genuine reason to show up on opening day.
4. More than half the vehicles on display are electrified
Over 50% of the vehicles at this year’s Philippine International Motor Show will be electrified models available for both viewing and test drives. That’s a significant milestone for a show that has historically been dominated by internal combustion engines, and a clear signal of where the local market is heading.
5. Fuel efficiency and sustainable mobility on the floor
Beyond EVs, the show will also feature technologies and programs focused on fuel efficiency and responsible energy use, giving visitors a look at how brands are responding to the practical energy and mobility challenges Filipino drivers face every day.
6. Immersive brand experiences and test drives
Expect more than static displays. Participating brands are building out immersive booth concepts with interactive activities, hands-on tech demonstrations, and test drive opportunities across the four-day run. If you’ve been curious about a particular model’s interior tech or driving feel, this is the place to find out.
7. An expanded aftermarket and lifestyle area
Car accessories, performance upgrades, audio and tech add-ons, and lifestyle brands will have their own dedicated space at the show. It’s worth a separate block of time for anyone who likes to personalize their ride or just browse what’s available beyond the dealership floor.
8. Car clubs and community meets
Automotive communities and brand car clubs will be part of the 10th Philippine International Motor Show, celebrating the passion and culture that keep the local car scene alive. If you’re part of an owners’ group or just enjoy seeing people who love their cars, this adds a good social layer to the event.
9. Event-only promos, freebies, and giveaways
Exhibitors and aftermarket brands will be running exclusive deals and promos throughout the show. Think special pricing, merchandise, collectibles, booth games, and giveaways. It pays to walk every aisle and not just head straight for your target brand.
10. BPI and Motul come on board as official partners
This year’s official event partners are BPI and Motul, lending support to the show’s focus on innovation and efficiency. BPI’s presence is particularly relevant for anyone looking to explore financing options on the spot.
