MobilityCarsVinFast expands global aftersales network

VinFast is making good on its promise to back every car it sells with a solid service network. At its 2026 Global Business Conference, held from May 4 to 10, the Vietnamese electric vehicle brand signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with 29 aftersales partners spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan. The event also brought together more than 200 investors and partners for the first time, signaling a broader push to cement VinFast’s presence in international markets.

A Global Service Pledge

Under the new agreements, international partners are required to set up EV service workshops that meet VinFast’s global standards. This includes standardized technician training and certification, consistent operating procedures, and quality control systems. To keep vehicles on the road, VinFast is also targeting spare parts delivery within 24 hours for common components in key markets.

Bui Viet Hung, deputy CEO for global aftersales at VinFast, said the company’s ambition goes beyond just growing headcount. “Our goal is not simply to expand the network, but to build a customer-centric aftersales ecosystem that delivers an outstanding experience on a global scale. Through partnerships with experienced local operators and the application of VinFast’s global standards, we aim to provide aftersales services that are exceptional, responsive, and reliable. We also aspire to bring Vietnam’s five-star service culture and spirit of dedication to the world, creating a unique experience for international customers. That is VinFast’s long-term commitment to the transition to electric mobility.”

1,100 Workshops and Counting

The expansion builds on a foundation VinFast has already laid at home. By the end of 2025, the company had established nearly 400 service workshops across Vietnam, bringing its total global network to close to 800 facilities. In 2026, VinFast aims to push that figure past 1,100 workshops, covering North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The rollout will follow multiple service models, including dealership-based workshops for retail customers, dedicated facilities for fleet and transportation operators, and third-party local service partners.

Ownership Support from Day One

Beyond physical service points, VinFast is rolling out a range of customer support policies tied to the full ownership experience. In Vietnam, this includes repair time commitments. Internationally, owners can expect replacement vehicle support, battery inspections, software updates, and ongoing technical assistance.

Charging the Future

Alongside its service expansion, VinFast is continuing to build out an integrated EV ecosystem that covers products, aftersales, and charging infrastructure. Working with strategic partners such as V-Green and local charging operators, the company is targeting a global network of more than 1.5 million charging ports. The goal is to make EV ownership as seamless and practical as possible in every market VinFast enters.

Conference participants also toured VinFast’s manufacturing complex and explored the broader Vingroup ecosystem, getting a closer look at the company’s production capabilities and long-term growth strategy.
