    Ford Philippines just recently announced their best-ever May sales performance, with sales rising 39 percent from a year earlier, to 1,711 units driven by the all-new EcoSport, Ranger, and Everest, which brings Ford’s year-to-date sales to a total of 7,167 units.

    Ford’s consistent top-selling vehicle is the Ford Range, which sales rise up to 31 percent with a total of 586 units sold just last May. While the Ford EcoSport, with 452 units sold in its second month of deliveries, continues to attract customers with its unique blend of versatility, fuel efficiency, and smart technology.

    “The compact and versatile all-new EcoSport continues to be a hit among Filipinos, especially for parents with children who are gearing up for school opening this June,” said Kay Hart, managing director of Ford Philippines.

    “The Ford Ranger continues to impress with its rugged versatility and best-in-class performance. These two nameplates are clear examples of how we’re expanding our showrooms to serve more Filipino customers than ever before,” Hart added.

    Ford also recently announced the addition of three new Wildtrak variants to their Ranger lineup: the manual and automatic versions of the 2.2L Ranger Wildtrak 4×2, which has new safety features and Ford’s Duratorq 2.2L TDCi engine, with a peak torque of 375 Nm and power of 150 PS, and the manual-transmission 3.2L Ranger Wildtrak 4×4, which uses the state-of-the-art Duratorq 3.2L TDCi engine, rated at 470 Nm and 200 PS.
