Honda issues voluntary recall for select CR-V, Jazz, Civic, City and Insight models

To ensure the safety of their customers, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has initiated a voluntary preventive measure campaign for select CR-V, Jazz, Civic, City and Insight models sold in the country from 2006 to 2012. The voluntary recall is due to a suspected defect in the inflator of the driver side airbag. Customers with affected vehicles are advised to set an appointment with the nearest Honda car dealership or service center. Servicing of the affected vehicles shall commence on September 14, 2015, and the replacement of the airbag inflator will only take about one (1) hour. Both lobor and parts shall be free of charge.

HCPI apologizes for any inconvenience caused to the owners of these vehicles and assures that this preventive measure is conducted to ensure their safety.
