Both Honda riders and riding enthusiasts shared their love for motorcycles at the recently concluded Honda Riders Convention 2019 held at the Tagaytay International Convention Center. The Luzon leg gathered a total of 3,000 attendees from more than 50 clubs for a day of fun-filled activities that fuels camaraderie and support.
The annual convention is one of the many activities that Honda develops to show their appreciation to its loyal riders. One of the main highlights of the event was the showcasing of Honda’s Automatic motorcycle models including the Neo Sports big bikes and other models for urban and serious sports riders. Motorcycle enthusiasts were able to test-ride selected Honda motorcycles and showcase their technical knowledge on the Riders Skills Challenge and Motor Show.
Honda Philippines Inc. also honored the riders’ special skills and talents through the “Riders Got Talent” competition and the “Miss Honda Riders Con 2019” segment.
New activities to this year’s riders convention include the meetup of riding clubs, social media photo contests, trade partners selling, pampering stations (free haircut and massage for riders), brotherhood wall, teambuilding sessions, and safety-riding seminar at HSDC booths. The convention also recognizes the farthest and biggest delegations in Luzon.
A concert featuring local OPM band Hale also capped off the event.
“We consider our riders as our main source of inspiration when designing and innovating new features for our motorcycles. That is why we’d like to give back to these communities by inviting them to a fun-filled event that combines camaraderie, support, passion, and commitment,” said Jomel Jerezo, assistant vice president for Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management of Honda Philippines Inc.
With the goal to reach more Filipinos throughout the year, Honda will also hold a leg of the Riders Convention in the Visayas and Mindanao in the coming months.
