At the recently-concluded Makina Moto Expo 2026, Honda Philippines Inc. unveiled three new motorcycles that reflect the brand’s evolving approach to two-wheel mobility, spanning electric, performance, and adventure segments. Each model addresses a different riding need, from urban commuting to long-distance exploration.

Urban Electric Mobility: Honda WN7

Leading the lineup was the WN7, Honda’s entry into full-size electric motorcycles built for city use. Designed for efficiency and responsiveness, it delivers 18kW rated power and up to 50kW peak output, along with 100Nm of torque for quick acceleration.

The WN7 accelerates from 0 to 50 meters in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 129km/h and a range of up to 144.1 kilometers, making it suitable for both daily commutes and extended urban rides. Charging is designed to be flexible, with a full charge taking around 2.5 hours, while fast charging from 20% to 80% can be completed in approximately 30 minutes.

It also integrates rider-focused features such as the Honda Smart Key System, Honda RoadSync connectivity, and a 5-inch TFT display. Additional functions like selectable riding modes, speed limit assist, and low-speed forward and reverse assist improve usability in tight urban environments.

Performance Roadster: Honda CB650R

The CB650R continued Honda’s Neo Sports Café design direction, blending minimalist styling with performance-oriented engineering. At its core is a high-revving inline-four engine that delivers smooth and consistent power across the rev range.

A key feature is Honda’s E-Clutch system, allowing riders to start, stop, and shift gears without using the clutch lever, making operation more intuitive without losing engagement. A quick shifter further enhances performance riding.

The CB650R is equipped with Honda RoadSync connectivity and a 5-inch full-color TFT display with optical bonding, improving readability in various lighting conditions.

Pricing is set at PHP525,000 for the Standard variant and PHP565,000 for the E-Clutch variant.

Adventure Versatility: Honda NX500

Completing the trio was the NX500, an adventure motorcycle designed for riders who want flexibility beyond city roads. Its lightweight construction and balanced handling allow it to transition between urban riding and more rugged terrain.

Like the CB650R, the NX500 is equipped with Honda’s E-Clutch system, along with a 5-inch TFT display and Honda RoadSync connectivity for navigation and app integration.

Available in Pearl Horizon Black and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, the NX500 is priced at PHP419,000, positioning it as an accessible option for riders entering the adventure segment.

A Broader Approach to Two-Wheel Mobility

Honda’s latest lineup reflects a balanced strategy across multiple powertrains and riding styles. The WN7 signals a continued push toward electrification, while the CB650R and NX500 reinforce the relevance of internal combustion motorcycles in the current market.

By offering a mix of electric and conventional models, Honda provides riders with more options based on their needs, whether focused on efficiency, performance, or versatility.
