Suzuki Philippines supports the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in achieving its operational objectives by providing vehicles for the government agency’s practical driving examinations and law enforcement efforts. A total of 6 units of motor vehicles were turned over last October 5, 2023, at LTO’s Main Branch in East Ave. Manila. LTO officers led by LTO Chief Atty. Vigor Mendoza II received the vehicles from Suzuki president Koichiro Hirao and managing director Norminio Mojica.

“Suzuki hopes that through these vehicles, we will be able to further increase the efficiency of the agency’s operations,” said Hirao during the turnover ceremonies.

As an advocate of road safety, Suzuki Philippines is one with the Land Transportation Office’s efforts to improve land transportation services and facilities, and effectively implement various transportation laws, rules, and regulations.

Mojica added, “Suzuki and LTO have been partners for a long time. In fact, we initiated a Learn to Ride Program with the agency before, and we look forward to doing similar activities that aim to foster road safety to all our motorists in the future.”

“It would enhance our enforcement capability. Mobility is the key for our enforcement and those motorcycles and the vehicle that Suzuki donated would be a big booster to what we are doing right now,” Atty. Mendoza stated. He also extends his gratitude to Suzuki for the assistance sayingl “You don’t know how much our enforcers, the boost of their morale to see brand new vehicles that they can now operate in.”

The company donated 5 units of Avenis scooters and 1 unit of S-Presso to the agency. Also present during the occasion were LTO chief for Law enforcement service Francis Rey Almora, chief of operations division Kathleen Salayog, property office OIC Jeany Torres, chief of human resources Ladielyn Fuderan, Ramon G. Reyes, and Atty. Greg Pua, as well as Suzuki Motorcycles marketing strategy manager Nenuka Guba.
