Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. hosted another of its Yamaha Grand Touring events, this time in Cebu. Over 120 riders participated in a four hour long road trip that took them from Kartzone Cebu to Tanawan, Oslob and back.

The participating clubs included the Soul i Exclusive Team Cebu, South Scooter Club, Yamaha Cebuana Club, Mio Elite Scooter Club, Tribu del Mio de Bohol, Club Mio MXi Cebu, Yamaha Fino Club Cebu, FZ16 Club Cebu Philippines, VegaForce Riders Pack, SZ16 Club, and United Sniper Club of Cebu.

The Grand Touring featured four of Yamaha’s top motorcycles, namely the N-Max with its 155 cc liquid cooled Blue Core engine with variable valve actuation technology and ABS; Tricity with its Leaning Multi Wheel technology that allows it to glide smoothly through different road conditions; Sniper 150 MXi with its liquid cooled, fuel injected engine; and the street model FZi with its fuel injected engine driving its light body.

The first day of the tour culminated in Brumini Resort where the riders got to enjoy a side trip to Sumilon Island  as well as whale shark watching. A program, hosted by ABS-CBN Cebu’s Phoebe Kay Fernandez, was also held. It involved fun games, activities, and raffle draw prizes from Motoworld and Yamaha. Yamaha sales and marketing director Kaoru Ogura was also present to express his gratitude to the riders, not only for their support but also for their enthusiasm throughout the ride.
