Yamaha recently concluded the third leg of Yamaha Grand Prix in Cebu.
Showing off the unrivaled performance of the new Sniper150, the battle between Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao regions continued in the YGP 150 Underbone Season Championship. Garry Caneda made the home team proud by winning in the first race, leaving Bornok Mangosong and Jay-R Daguio in second and third places respectively. Things changed in the second race when category leader Robert Ryan Espiritu secured his place at the top, beating a new record as the fastest racer in this leg. Caneda then ended in second place while Mangosong settled for third place.
The All-Female category, on the other hand, features the Yamaha MIO Sporty. Dominating the race was Jannesse Lucero with a wide margin between her and the other racers. One of the pioneers of female motorcycle racing, C-let Quizon, placed second while Jen Serdal Yosores finished third.
Meanwhile, the Dealer Cup Race continued the battle between MotorAce, FMN Industrial, Rhean Marketing, LYR Motorhub, and DES Marketing. Onboard with Yamaha Sight 115, MotorAce rider John Emerson Inguito took the top spot. Ephraim Onahon from Rhean Marketing was named as the second placer while Garry Caneda of DES Marketing finished third on the race.
The Sniper150 One Make Race was a close fight between the Eliezer Langbid, Brint Parinasan, and Jexer Inoc. Rising from the ninth position on his first lap, Langbid stole the lead from Parinasan and Inoc. It granted him a hard-earned top spot.
