Nissan Philippines finally took the wraps off the new vehicle it has been teasing across social media since early this year, and presented the macho-looking Terra.
The company’s first SUV in the mid-size segment in the Philippines, the Nissan Terra underlines the company’s commitment to growing the country’s already strong business and meet the rising customer demand.
It parades a robust exterior design, spacious interiors, and advanced driving technology, making for an ingenious combination to give customers confidence to take on any journey.
The vehicle is a descendant of the Patrol, Nissan’s tough off-road icon, originally designed for police and military use. The 4×4 was also often used in exploring uncharted territories, including deserts, plains, and mountainous regions.
The Terra’s reinforced chassis, five-link coil spring rear suspension system, and rigid rear-wheel axle work together to ensure strength, durability, comfort, and convenience. Meanwhile, with the 4WD-DIFF lock system, coupled with Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist, drivers have more control over the wheels during 4×4 situations
Built with Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, the Terra guarantees safety and convenience to both driver and passengers. The technologies include Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. Meanwhile, innovations like Smart Rear View Mirror allow drivers to see images from a camera mounted at the back.
Its roomy interior seats up to seven people comfortably, offering more convenience when getting in and out of the vehicle, with its first in class second row one-touch remote fold and tumble seats. The vehicle also offers one of the highest loading capacities and more rear space. With premium leather seats, advanced air conditioning system, ambient lights, and overhead entertainment, the new Nissan Terra allows passengers to relax with ease and style.
The new Nissan’s Terra’s V-motion grille gives a streamlined look from the front, while the “boomerang” LED headlamps accentuate its sharp and commanding appearance. The sleek roofline flows from the front fender to the rear, where the tail lights add to its dynamic look. Completing the exterior are 18-inch alloy wheels, designed to create exciting driving experiences both on and off the road.
Beginning June 1, 2018, customers may already reserve the Terra at any Nissan dealership nationwide. It will be available in the market by August 20, 2018.
