Pioneer Electronics AsiaCentre announced September 8 its line-up of 2017 in-car receivers now available to the public.
The 11 models, namely the 1-DIN DEH-X1950UB, DEH-X1952UB, DEH-X1953UB, DEH-X2950UI, DEH-X3950BT, DEH-X4950BT, DEH-X7850BT, 2-DIN FH-X785BT CD receivers, and the MVH-X195UI, MVH-X395BT, MVH-X585BT digital media receivers, will be based on new hardware platforms with enhanced audio and new added features.
The new models make full use of Pioneer’s Advanced Remote Control (ARC) app for iOS and Android devices, with the updated 2.2.0 version supporting the receivers’ 13-band equalizer. The ARC allows users to fully control their vehicle’s audio system levels through a touch-and-slide interface.
The updated ARC also now supports third-party applications such as Spotify, YouTube, Waze, and Google Maps. With Spotify now fully supported by the receiver, users can now control the app either via their connected smartphone or through the receiver itself.
The new in-car receivers now also support FLAC lossless audio formats for better quality audio playback.
Other smartphone-integrated features include: the MIXTRAX which adds transitions and effects in between music files in the user’s library to create one continuous mix of songs from any smart device or USB storage source; and added Bluetooth functionality which allows users to browse their device’s library and play files through the receiver.
The new in-car receivers are available for purchase at authorized Pioneer dealers.
