    The last qualifying leg for the Yamaha Grand Prix at Baliwag Bulacan was an event that tested the wits of racers but at the same time was an avenue for them to shine.

    Through scorching heat and torrential rain, Masato Fernando, onboard the Sniper 150, dominated the first heat. But by the 2nd heat, he found himself in an unfortunate situation which cost him the overall win for the Luzon leg–Bornok Mangosong came out victorious.

    While the ladies got the bulk of the unfavorable weather, they displayed relentlessness and willpower of the Filipina. Erica Ondillo led the female team of Luzon–all benefiting from the capabilities of the Mio Sporty.

    The Dealer Cup race tested the functionalities of the record breaking Yamaha Sight. Ernie Daguio Jr. elevated DHCI CycleHaus Racing Team in the Expert Category while Bornok Mangosong raked in a double podium finish by bagging the Intermediate Category win for Rhean Marketing Racing.  

    The finals will be held at the Palawan Racing Circuit on September 9.
