MobilitySuzuki continues excitement with Raider R150 One Make Race

The Super Suzuki Raider R150 One Make Race proceeded through the racing season with its fourth leg under the Shell Advance Super Series Nationwide Championships held last June 18 at the Carmona Racing Circuit in Cavite.

Operating under the Super Series’ IR Cup Series for Luzon and Regional Underbone Grand Prix for Visayas and Mindanao, the One Make Race is Suzuki’s way of bringing the feel of famous Suzuki Asian Challenge to the local racing scene.

The competition is open to all participants, all of which are required to use the Raider R150 as the name suggests. The race aims to showcase the power and performance of the beloved Underbone King on the track with its svelte body, impressive DOHC 150cc engine and excellent handling.

The Carmona leg featured 25 riders who joined the single-make competition during the elimination round, determining the final 15 riders who will battle it out in the final round.

Clifford Bacus recorded the best lap time at 52.646 seconds, placing first overall. Gian Carlo Mauricio followed Bacus by a hair in second with a best recorded lap time of 52.908 seconds. Kerwin Chang placed third, clocking in his best lap at 53.784 seconds.

During racing day, riders and fans alike got to enjoy a display of the Raider R150 in its newest color: the Matte Black Premium Edition through Suzuki’s partner dealer Motortrade.

The Super Suzuki Raider R150 One Make Race continues the season with its fifth leg at Panglao Kartways in Bohol this July 23.
