    The much anticipated Battle of Kings at Tagum City, Davao came to a close on the 9th of Fabruary this year. The Raider Breed Wars, which featured the best riders each region had to offer all made their way dowwn south to participate in the event’s finals. The competition featured Scooter 130, Underbnoe 115 and Raider R 150 Categories.

    At the top of the Scooted category was John Paul Lantape, folloowed by Neil Perino and Anver Antonio. Manuelle Sumog-Oy maintained his place for four consecutive years as the champion for the Underbone 115 category followed by Joven Millana and Jeffrey Teopengco for the 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

    Jeffrey Teopengco compounded his 3rd place inish in the Underbone 115 category with a championship in the Raider R 150 category, followed by Adrian “Boboy” Gonzales landed at 2nd place while Joel Tatunay striked the 3rd place.

    The 3 podium finishers for each category were awarded trophies, cash prizes (P 10,000 for the 3rd placer, P 20,000 for the 2nd placer and P 50,000 for the champion). Special prizes were also given courtesy of Phoenix Cyclomax and Talk ‘n Text at the awarding ceremony that capped the eventt off.

    Suzuki’s 3s shop in Tagum, Rhean Cyclemart, offered big discounts on Suzuki apparel, motorcycle accessories and spare parts. Likewise, RBW co-presenter Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. offered discounts on their Phoenix Cyclomax products.

    The 2013 Suzuki Raider Breed Wars was powered by Phoenix Cyclomax – a brand of motorcycle oils distributed by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., one of the fastest growing independent oil companies in the country today.  Talk ‘N Text and Denso Spark Plugs also supported the event as major sponsors. The RBW is sanctioned by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association of the Philippines (NAMSSA), the sole body affiliated with the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Olympic Committee.
