Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) debuted the latest version of the Yaris subcompact hatchback. Built to promote optimum convenience to its driver, the Yaris guarantees a fun driving experience for both the driver and its passengers.
Designed to be at the forefront of innovation and technology, the new Yaris is powered by a 1.5 liter 1NZ-FE 16 valve DOHC engine with VVT-I. It functions effectively to ensure superior output, cleaner emissions and enhanced fuel economy. Sporting a total of 107HP /6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 141Nm/4,200rpm, the new Yaris is an agile and nimble vehicle that is fun and easy to drive.
The Yaris now has an edgier presence on the road, because of its new Exterior changes which include a sleeker front mesh grille and newly designed headlamps. Alongside that is the new front and rear bumper with reflex reflectors. Placed side by side are signal lamps integrated to the side mirrors for added safety, while rear combination lamps are now equipped with LEDs to add to its sporty image.
The interior of the Yaris has been refreshed by adapting a sportier leather steering wheel and shift knob hemmed with red stitches to add to the sporty feel. It is also equipped with audio controls and an auxiliary connector to boost the fully-integrated audio system for better convenience.
Together with these alterations, customers will be able to experience firtshand the safety and comfort features inhibited from the previous generation. This includes the center-positioned optitron meters for easy viewing, driver and passenger SRS airbags, and numerous compartment pockets.
