Xiaomi is expanding its micromobility lineup with the launch of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Series, a new range of electric scooters designed to make urban commuting more practical, comfortable, and energy-efficient.
Positioned for students, young professionals, and daily commuters, the new lineup combines improved ride comfort, longer range, and smart connectivity features as more Filipinos seek alternatives amid rising fuel costs and congested roads.
The launch also reflects the growing interest in compact electric mobility solutions for short-distance and last-mile travel within major cities.
Designed for smoother city commutes
One of the biggest upgrades in the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 Series is its focus on ride comfort.
The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 introduces a kicktail design paired with a dual shock-absorption system that combines front dual-spring and rear single-spring suspension. The setup is designed to improve stability and reduce vibrations when traveling over uneven roads, gravel, speed bumps, and rough asphalt surfaces common in urban areas.
With a peak motor output of 800W, the scooter is also capable of handling inclines of up to 18%, helping riders navigate elevated roads and flyovers more comfortably.
The lineup delivers a maximum range of up to 45km on a single charge, making cross-city commutes more manageable without frequent charging stops.
Smart safety and connected features
Safety remains a major focus across the Electric Scooter 6 lineup. The scooters feature a 2.5W high-brightness headlight capable of illuminating up to 15 meters ahead, along with a responsive brake warning tail light for added visibility during nighttime riding.
A dual braking system combines a front drum brake with rear E-ABS technology to improve braking stability and stopping performance across varying road conditions.
Xiaomi also noted that the scooter lineup complies with LTO safety standards for scooters weighing below 50kg.
In keeping with Xiaomi’s connected ecosystem approach, the scooters integrate with the Xiaomi Home App, allowing riders to monitor battery levels, check ride history, and remotely lock the motor through their smartphones.
