The three-day event at Foro de Intramuros will bring together food, heritage, culture, entertainment, travel experiences, and the launch of Manila’s new tourism campaign.
Manila is inviting visitors to experience the capital from a different perspective with the My Manila Tourism Expo 2026, happening from September 25 to 27, at the historic Foro de Intramuros.
Organized by the City Government of Manila through the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila, the three-day event will bring together food, culture, heritage, entertainment, travel experiences, and special offers in one venue. It is also intended to encourage residents and frequent visitors to look beyond the familiar and explore the city with the same curiosity they might bring to a trip abroad.
Rediscovering a familiar city
Manila is home to some of the country’s most recognizable historic sites, food destinations, cultural spaces, and neighborhoods, yet familiarity can make it easy to overlook them.
The expo is built around the idea of rediscovery, giving visitors a chance to engage with the city through curated experiences rather than simply passing through it. Heritage, food, culture, and local travel are brought together to show how many different versions of Manila can exist depending on what a visitor chooses to explore.
Launching “MANILA, MY MANILA”
One of the key moments of the weekend will be the official launch of Manila’s new tourism campaign, “MANILA, MY MANILA.”
The campaign centers on the idea that there is no single way to experience the city. For some, Manila may be defined by food or history; for others, it may be nightlife, neighborhoods, museums, or family memories. The campaign embraces those different perspectives and presents the city as something personal rather than fixed.
Food, culture, and travel in one venue
Visitors can expect a Discover Manila Zone, Heritage & Culture Exhibits, a Food & Gastronomy Pavilion, live cultural performances, immersive experiences, and a Travel Marketplace featuring offers and deals.
The combination gives the expo a broader lifestyle appeal, allowing visitors to move between food, culture, heritage, entertainment, and travel planning throughout the weekend. It also gives Manila-based attractions and experiences a platform to reach people who may already know the city, but have not necessarily explored it in depth.
The event ultimately makes a simple case: you do not always have to leave the country, or even the city, to discover something new.
