Motortrade and Yamaha Motor Philippines recently held the first leg of the Yamaha Sight Safe Run for 2019. Held in Cainta, the second year of the said program has produced a record-breaking performance in terms of efficiency.

Mr. Francis Rivera, the president of  Adventure Team Philippines, shared his experiences in leading a group that promotes local tourist destinations through sports activities. Together with his group, he advocates the protection of wildlife and eco-tourism in the country.

This year’s Safe Run route enables riders to roam around and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the province while meeting outstanding fuel efficiency. All riders used the edgy Yamaha Sight that is powered by a fuel-injected engine that gives high performance and better acceleration every ride. Among its other features include a disc brake for better braking force, 9 liter compartment, and a roller rocker arm mechanism that reduces vibration.

The ride started at the Yamaha 3S Shop in Ortigas in Ortigas Extension going to Motortrade Tanay branch. From Tanay, they continued to go at Petron Lumban which is approximately 82.8 km from their point of origin. The route ended at the Petron CDV Ortigas where they covered a total distance of 164 km. Recording remarkable fuel efficiency, the Yamaha Sight Safe Run lasted for 4 hours and 49 minutes.
