Team Yamaha proved once again its world-renowned excellence in motorcycle racing as it came out dominant in the Motorace Championship last November 26, 2017 at Kart Zone in Cebu.
With riders assigned to each motorcycle by drawing lots, it was a true test of man and machine, putting skill and motorcycle performance to the limits for the duration of the championship races.
The 150 cc category saw the Yamaha Sniper 150, ridden by RJ Commendador, lead the way with a field of Honda RS150 tailing him in every turn. It was a tough and challenging battle against worthy opponents, but in the end Commendador bagged the top spot at the podium.
The 130 cc underbone category featured Garry Caneda, on a Vega Force I, which gave Team Yamaha another win. Caneda made a repeat performance aboard the Mio Sporty for the 130 cc AT category, winning once again.
The most exciting match-up of the competition was the all-female category where Chloe Mallari and C-Let Cuizon took the first and second place respectively using the Yamaha Mio i 125.
Yamaha proved that its motorcycles and its riders cannot be easily outclassed on the track, combining personal skill and world-class motorcycle technology to yield racing dominance.
