Samsung is set to unveil the CH711, a curved monitor with Quantum Dot technology, at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas which begins January 3.

The monitor features an 1800R curvature and a 178-degree viewing angle and has a 125 percent sRGB color coverage coupled with a 2560×1440 wide QHD resolution.

The CH711 is available in 27 and 31.5-inch variants and will be commercially available early 2017.

The monitor is targeted at both gamers and casual consumers who enjoy streaming videos or getting more productivity through a larger display.

“Today’s multimedia consumers, quite rightly, have high expectations and demand a truly cutting edge, totally immersive experience that realizes the full potential of whatever they are playing or watching,” said Senior Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display division Seoggi Kim in an official release by the company.

The price of the CH711 is yet to be announced.
