Entries will be judged at the national level first before progressing to the global stage. 20 entries for each countries will be shortlisted by a special panel, which consists of top Dyson engineers. The top 20 projects will be then forwarded to Sir James Dyson, for further review and selection of grand winner.

This year, the annual competition will accept entries from 27 countries, including  Australia, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, UAE, and Sweden.

“Young engineers and designers have perspective and unbridled intelligence that makes them incredibly adept at problem solving. Their ideas can easily be dismissed, but if nurtured and celebrated, they are transformative.
