Cyber security company Symantec launched Symantec Endpoint Protection 14, the latest iteration of its endpoint security suite. It utilizes resources both from its host system and the cloud, along with advanced machine learning and memory exploit mitigation, to deliver multi-layered protection against threats—all in a single agent.

It integrates Symantec and newly-acquired Blue Coat’s security telemetry, readying it to protect over 175 million consumer and enterprise endpoints, 163 million email users, 80 million, web proxy users, and process nearly eight billion security requests every day.
Last year, Symantec detected over 430 million new malware threats, and the figure is only expected to grow larger this year.
