One of the world’s leader in entertainment devices and software, Razer, announced its much-awaited gamepad for iOS devices, the new Razer Junglecat.
The Junglecat is Razer’s first piece of mobile phone hardware, and offers consumers a combination of gaming-grade control and customizability. The controller’s sleek profile ensures it moulds seamlessly with the iPhone. It features a full set of pressure-sensitive AXBY buttons, a D-pad, and bumpers, which eliminates the need to use on-screen controls. Since the Junglecat is a slider-type controller, users can leave it attached to the iPhone even when not in use. The controller feels like a standard protective case with a thickness of only 20mm.
It also comes with a downloadable iOS app that lets users customize its button functions and adjust its pressure sensitivity. Users can save up to 20 personalized profiles that can be accessed and modified any time. Moreover, the Razer Junglecat, as an MFi (Made for iPhone) product, is enabled for the latest features of Apple devices, which has been recently announced at the WWDC 2014. This function will allow users to use their iPhone 5/5s with an attached Razer Junglecat as a wireless controller for other Apple products with a larger screen.
