Sharp Philippines is redefining its brand direction with a stronger focus on connected living, comfort, and future-ready home technology through its “In Step With Your Future” showcase recently held at Solaire Resort North.

The event introduced Sharp’s newest “In Step With Your Future” slogan, replacing the long-running “Be Original” campaign, and presented the company’s evolving lineup of televisions, appliances, audio systems, air solutions, and concept technologies designed for modern lifestyles.

Through three dedicated showcase zones covering current products, newly launched devices, and future concepts, Sharp highlighted how its ecosystem continues evolving around convenience, AIoT connectivity, energy efficiency, and entertainment.

Sharp’s latest entertainment lineup was headlined by new AQUOS televisions featuring upgraded AI processing, gaming enhancements, and large-format displays.

The upcoming AQUOS JJ5000X Series introduces 4K Google TV functionality, HDR, Dolby Audio support, and a new “SUIREN-粋錬-” metal stand design. Models ranging from 50 inches to 85 inches are expected to arrive in July.

Sharp also highlighted the return of its 85-inch large-screen AQUOS category as the brand celebrates the 25th anniversary of AQUOS TVs.

For premium home viewing, the AQUOS QLED JL6500X Series uses Deep Chroma QD technology for wider color reproduction, while the flagship AQUOS XLED 75-inch HU8500X introduces the X7 X-Revelation AI Processor, AI Karaoke, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and gaming features including up to 144Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium.

The company also unveiled its new CS-Series speakers featuring retro-inspired MDF wooden cabinet designs, karaoke functions, Bluetooth connectivity, and TWS pairing. The Sharp TS-2010P-BK tower speaker was also showcased with dual 8-inch woofers, X-BASS technology, and 26,000W PMPO output aimed at home entertainment and karaoke use.

Smarter appliances and AIoT home solutions

Sharp’s home appliance lineup also received several upgrades focused on convenience, efficiency, and connected living, with the introduction of a new two-door top-mount refrigerator series featuring larger Mega Freezer capacity options ranging from 15.5 to 16.2 cu. ft. configurations.

For laundry, Sharp showcased new top-load washing machines including non-inverter models in 8kg and 10.5kg capacities, alongside inverter variants in 13kg and 17kg sizes equipped with Direct Drive Motors and waterproof capacitive touch panels.

Sharp also expanded its air treatment category with the upcoming FX-S82 air purifier, available in black and gray variants and designed for rooms up to 62 square meters. The unit features a Purefit design and AIoT functionality.

Meanwhile, Sharp’s new AH-XP10DHF air conditioner lineup introduces AIoT connectivity, Fresh Dry functionality, and a 14-degree Celsius minimum temperature setting. The system also includes Super Jet Mode for rapid cooling and LED indicators that visually display room comfort levels.

Through AIoT integration, users can remotely manage temperature, humidity, and operating modes using a mobile application while allowing the system to adapt to user preferences over time.

Future concepts preview Sharp’s next direction

The event also showcased future product concepts that may eventually reach the Philippine market, depending on local demand and market conditions.

Several technologies first introduced at global exhibitions, including CEATEC Japan, were previewed, reflecting the company’s continued push toward connected, lifestyle-driven innovation.

Masahiro Akiyoshi, president and general manager of Sharp Philippines, introduces the company’s new “In Step With Your Future” direction during the media conference at Solaire Resort North.

Masahiro Akiyoshi, president and general manager of Sharp Philippines, said the company’s new direction goes beyond simply introducing new technology.

“It reflects our commitment to look beyond technology and focus on real life — to understand the challenges people are facing today and to offer solutions one step ahead of time. Sharp will continue to deliver products that make everyday life better,” Akiyoshi said.

He added that Sharp continues focusing on products that deliver long-term value through comfort, energy savings, health, and entertainment.

“Customers should choose value, not just price, because Sharp delivers value through health, comfort, energy savings, and enjoyment,” he said.
