Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer, Biostar, has recently released a new generation of hardware for gaming and office use. These include motherboards, SSDs, and SoCs.
Compatible with the latest motherboards, laptops, and mini-PCs, the Biostar M500 SSD is a NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) that delivers high-performance speeds of up to 1700MB/s sequential read, 1100MB/s sequential write and random read/write IOPS of up to 200K/180K. It has a Smart Temperature Display for monitoring real-time temperature in three various levels–green for temperature below 50°C, yellow for temperature between 50°C-65°C, and red for temperature above 65°C.–for smooth and continuous gameplay. Meanwhile, its AMD-powered processor A68N-5600 has an AMD A68H chipset and an AMD A10-4655 quad-core processor on board, matched with Radeon HD7620G graphics. It sports a mini-ITX compact form with two DIMM slots supporting DDR3-1333MHz of up to 32GB, and brings a high-speed USB 3.0 technology along with VGA and HDMI outputs for greater display options.
It also has the Racing series specifically crafted for gaming. Fronting the lineup is the Racing X470GT8 which supports up to second generation of AMD Ryzen processors with Radeon Vega graphics featuring the AMD X470 chipset. It comes with four DIMM slots, supporting DDR4-3200(OC)/ 2933(OC)/ 2667/ 2400/2133/ 1866 memory of up to 64GB, supports high-speed M.2 32Gbps storage with M.2 Cooling Protection, USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C connectivity, and HDMI output with 4K resolution. For Intel processors, there’s the Racing B250GT5 that supports supports 7th generation Intel Core processors featuring the Intel B250 chipset. It features four DIMM slots supporting DDR4- 2400/2133/1866 memory of up to 64 GB, Biostar’s exclusive Hi-Fi Technology, supports high-speed M.2
32Gbps storage and Intel Optane Memory technology, and has HDMI with support for 4K resolution displays.
For its home and business products, there’s the A320MH motherboard that supports the first-generation AMD Ryzen CPU with AMD A320
chipset, and the Hi-Fi A68U3P that has support for FM2+, FM2, AMD A-Series, AMD E-Series processors.
