Last June 4 Dell announced the latest Vostro laptop, an addition to its line-up of portable laptops, the Dell Vostro 5460, measuring a meager 18.3mm in just 1.54kg; this ultra-thin device caters to value-conscious customers, professionals and IT decision makers in the hunt for mobility and performance at a reasonable price.

The Vostro 5460 sports a 14-inch HD widescreen LED (HD WLED) Truelife display supporting up to 1366×768 pixels; the redefined Vostro also comes with integrated stereo speakers and subwoofer powered by HD audio with WavesMaxxAudio 4.0. The laptop also features an integrated 720HD 1MP camera with microphones for high-definition web-conferencing.
This portable laptop also sports a full-sized Chiclet keyboard, a multi-touch gesture touchpad, cool-to-the-touch aluminum palm restand a 3-cell integrated Lithium Ion battery providing up to 5 hours of battery life.
The Vostro 5460 encased within a sleek brushed-aluminum chassis in graphite silver also features 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and RJ-45 Ethernet port. It also has USB 3.0 ports, one with Power Share, a SD Card Reader slot, a headphone/microphone combo jack and HDMI port.
Its various features include third generation Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, integrated HD4000 graphics at its core (or optional 2GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT630M graphics), users can either go for the standard or Ultrabook configurations of the Vostro 5460. It allows speedy function and added storage with 500GB HDD and 32GB SSD in the Ultrabook.
The Vostro 5460 also offers added security and fuss free data protection for your files with Dell’s In-Home Service after remote diagnoses, Dell Backup and Recovery Manager. For the Ultrabook configuration it comes with Intel Anti-Theft Technology and Identity Protection Technology for your device’ maximum safety.
