The Epson group of companies in the Philippines continues its practice of extending aid to disaster-stricken areas as the company donated PHP 2 million to assist in the relief operations in areas severely affected by one of the worst typhoons to hit the country in recorded history. The support was made through the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), a local non-profit organization.

Epson employees will also work alongside PBSP personnel to carry out on-site relief operations. Furthermore, Epson employees also gave out voluntary contributions in addition to the aid the company has donated.

“Epson employees grieve with the families affected by Typhoon Yolanda. Our prayers go along with our donation and our manpower support. We stand with you in this harrowing ordeal,” said Epson Environment Manager Joyce Tan.

Epson wishes to extend its sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives, and hopes for the speedy recovery of the areas damaged by the disaster.
